Анна Люмия - Your Heart Won't Forget

I keep our letters in a box.
Your coffee cup is still in place.
Sometimes I wake before the dawn and see you standing by the window pane.
Your scent still lingers on my coat.
A few last words, an empty bed.
It took so long to stop the waiting, to stop searching for you in my head.
If you'd stayed here by my side, I'd have forgiven you again.
We'd have shared the good and bad, and I'd have loved you just the same.
But you chose a road one day, a road where I could never go.
Little by little, I let you go, but my heart won't forget you.
